Transplanting an Orchid
Quick video on the basics for transplanting an Orchid. This was the second orchid I trnasplanted and the most damaged. You want to place an orchid in a pot that has about 2 years growth space available and you wanna change pots after blooms, or when it’s noticeable the plant needs a new plant which can be within 18 months normally.
Nice. I have no green thumb at all. But this was really awesome to watch, because I at least have a chance at doing something right haha
The center of the plant looked good, it will no doubt make it. Hope we are straight on the fish LOL.
Thats an orchid?
@lonewolf13scott its in bad shape but yes..its an orchid lol
@MrJmoney84 lol
@yllekr123 yeah about the center..it is in good shape but somehow in the process of taking things back inside the center leaves kinda got cut.. :/ lol that plant is soo messed up.. i really hope it makes it and grows back strong.
Awesome tutorial! Better than those stuffy TV plant show hosts!
i have an orchid… it seems to be doing fine in the pot it’s in – how do i Know if I should replant?
You said “pot”. lololol. Bevis and Butt-Head said “cool”. lolololol The little weinerheads approve!!
@Trekkenn after it blooms, after 18 months or if the roots are too close to the walls of its current pot..the pot has to be large enough to accommodate about those 18 months worth of growth
@nightiscoming2 haha
@TheNickoda haha yeah cause im a noob..actually orchids im afraid to keep since theyre so sensitive to everything..
